ABOUT BRIDGE ARTS
Bridge Arts consists of two former shop units in Castleford town centre. They house a high quality gallery space with a changing exhibition programme, plus space for meetings and workshops. We also offer rooms for artists to rent as studio space.
Bridge Arts is managed by Castleford Town Centre Partnership and Castleford Heritage Trust, and is funded by Wakefield Council and the Arts Council England, Yorkshire.
We send out a regular Bridge Arts ‘Whats’s On’ bulletin by email. If you would like to be added to our mailing list please contact castlefordheritagetrust@googlemail.com

The Knit and Knatter Group meet at Bridge Arts on the first and third Thursday of every month, between 1pm and 4pm.
Needles, wool and patterns are provided, as well as tuition and support if required. Everyone welcome!
The group have knitted items for sale which have raised money for Bridge Arts, and for our Ugandan Prisons Project exhibition, called Changing Lives.
They are currently knitting educational toys for the babies of prisoners. This project has been instigated by Heritage Trust member Sandra Worthington, who is a volunteer with the African Prisons Project.
